Kingsland Sharing the Harvest has been an all-volunteer effort since it began in 1994 as a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Volunteers are still the lifeblood of the organization, which has been a stand-alone non-profit since 2016.
In 2023, nearly 24,000 people (6,700 families) received food from Sharing the Harvest. Numbers in 2024 are even higher. About 60% of our neighbors come from Llano County, 40% from Burnet County.

While all contributions are welcome, Circle of Sharing members are asked to commit a minimum of $100/month for at least one year. There will be special recognition and gatherings for these generous donors.
Circle of Sharing is our giving society, made up of passionate individuals who are committed to ending hunger in the Highland Lakes. Circle members are leaders in their communities and families. For many members, the fight against hunger is personal.
